The W0023 fault code activates when Tadano's AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) system determines the crane is operating beyond safe load limits for the current boom configuration and working radius. This protective system calculates real-time load moments and compares them against the crane's rated capacity chart. When exceeded, it immediately stops crane functions to prevent catastrophic failure.
